The Sun Is Out, The Trees Are Lush – The 2025 Harvest Has Begun!

The chill has settled over northern NSW, and the air is thick with the scent of fresh earth and Tea Tree. After months of prep and planning, we kicked off the 2025 harvest at Main Camp just two weeks ago – what a moment!

Despite the setbacks from Cyclone Alfred and May’s floods, the farm has bounced back with strength. Tea Tree is tough—it doesn’t mind wet feet and even thrives in it, as long as it doesn’t last too long. That resilience mirrors the oil itself—versatile and powerful, with uses that span skincare, haircare, and wellness; natural cleaning products and oral hygiene; even pet care, agriculture, and veterinary applications. Few natural ingredients match Tea Tree oil’s range and effectiveness.

When harvest began, the fields were a sight—dense, healthy rows of vibrant green tea tree, the kind that promises strong yields and top-grade oil. Months of prep had paid off. Our harvesters and buggies were in peak condition, thanks to our skilled mechanical team, and our harvest and distillation crews had completed their seasonal training. Even after decades of doing this, we never skip on safety or readiness. As soon as the weather opened a window, we moved fast—machines rolling, biomass flowing to the distillery, and oil in the tanks within hours.

Our ISO 14001 and 9001 accredited distillery is now running around the clock. As always, the Main Camp crew keeps things running smoothly—they know the crop, the gear, and the process inside out, ensuring every batch meets the highest standards. That kind of consistency is why Main Camp Tea Tree Oil is trusted worldwide.

We don’t need to boast about being the world’s largest producer—our scale is easy to see (just zoom in on Google Earth), and our quality speaks for itself. And if there’s ever any doubt, we’re always happy to send a sample.

With the harvest in full swing, we’re already looking ahead. If you’re planning your sourcing for FY2026, now’s a great time to reach out. We’ve got freshly distilled Tea Tree Oil, a multitude of packaging options, and decades of experience exporting high-quality Australian Tea Tree Oil to partners around the world.

Our team—across farm operations, logistics, quality, and sales—brings decades of essential oil expertise and is here to support you.
