Part of Myrtaceae family, the plant is often found in the northeastern coast of NSW and inland south-east Queensland. The essential oil produce by steam distillation of the leaves & twigs is is characterized by a fresh, earthy, gentle lavender aroma and a mild Eucalyptus and Tea Tree aroma.
