Eucalyptus Smithii
Australia

The Eucalyptus smithii, commonly known as the gully gum, gully peppermint, blackbutt peppermint, or ironbark peppermint, is a species of Eucalyptus that is endemic to southeastern Australia. With a very fresh clean smelling & soft camphoraceous aroma, the essential oil of the Eucalyptus smithii is considered the milder of all the Eucalyptus oil and is the perfect alternative to the stronger smelling Eucalyptus globules. The main constituent of the oil remains 1,8-cineole, alpha-pinene, limonene, alpha-terpineol, para-cymene. The Eucalyptus smithii is known for its antiseptic properties and is traditionally used to relieve the congestion created by colds and flu.
