Eucalyptus Lemon Scented Oil

Corymbia citriodora (Formerly Eucalyptus Citriodora)
Australia

The Corymbia citriodora, commonly known as Eucalyptus lemon-scented gum or Eucalyptus spotted gum, is a species of Eucalyptus that is endemic to north-eastern Australia. The essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the leaves and offers a characteristic, beautiful and fresh, lemony aroma. Despite its anti-septic properties, shared with all the Eucalyptus species, the Corymbia citriodora is mostly known to repeal a large variety of insects (especially mosquitoes) thanks to its main constituent being Citronellal (over 75%).
